Excellent restaurant near the Collegiate Church of St. Paul in Rabat. It has a contemporary look and a fantastic atmosphere. The seafood tasted fresh and savoury and I would definitely go back here… Best pizza on Malta! We have had a few pies during our trip, but this restaurant really surprised us. Good price, wood fire oven, great pizza… A great place for homemade pasta which was perfect. Accompanied by nice wine and the dessert, simply amazing. Service top notch!… Top quality and delicious fresh pasta. Definitely visit this lovely restaurant if you want to fill your stomach with good Italian cuisine…

Restaurant Name: Cosmana Navarra Ristorante
Restaurant Description: Cosmana Navarra is a casual restaurant set in one of Rabat’s oldest palazzos. Our house specialties include fresh, handmade pasta, Italian grills and wood-fired pizza: traditional fare given a local twist by Chef Mark Borg. Refined but relaxed, we welcome you to unwind in our family friendly atmosphere. If these walls could talk! Our palazzo was built by Cosmana Navarra (1600-1682), a remarkable woman and the benefactress of the Rabat parish church, which you can drink in spectacular views of during your meal. You’ll also discover the palazzo’s secrets, from original 17th century features to hidden rooms designed by Cosmana herself. Choose from a cosy table tucked into one of our secluded dining rooms, to a spacious table for your whole family in our grand dining room, all enjoying soaring ceilings and church views. Or turn your ordinary evening into an extraordinary one by booking the balcony: our most romantic setting for two. With flexible spaces for 8 to over 100 guests, we also offer event packages for everything from birthdays to intimate banquets. Visit Cosmana Navarra to dine where Rabat was built.

The best dining experience we had in Malta – Cosmana Narva is a hidden gem. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and impresses by its historical heritage. The owners make the experience perfect and are very friendly and welcoming. They eagerly explained us how they make the pasta all by themselves. We had some Spaghetti dinner mare and a pizza quattro formaggi which were both the most delicious meals we had in Malta. The quality you get here for the very fair prices is stunning and is definitely worth avoiding the tourist traps just next do mdina.
The staff here were exceptionally great and attentive. They gave us several recommendations and made sure the night went well. The food is very reasonably priced and is just as delicious considering they use home made pasta. They have a few special available, and I’d definitely recommend trying one. The interior of the restaurant is also beautiful.
Came upon this restaurant by chance having just visited nearby catacombs. The setting is lovely, contemporary with high ceilings and the service was great. We chose homemade pasta, one with scallops the other with lobster – a chilled glass of white sparkling wine, couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend.
Recommended by a friend who had been there a while back, this was hands down one of the best meals we had on our trip to Malta. The family that runs the restaurant is warm and welcoming and the food is unpretentious, fresh and delicious.
A fantastic local restaurant. One of only a handful of restaurants in Malta where you can dine in an old palace. Location is perfect, right outside St Paul’s church and just round the corner from Rabat’s catacombs. The staff are super friendly and the food and ambience is incredible.
