Ate here twice and on both occasions, great service, good food and quality wines at reasonable prices… Good restaurant with an extensive menu, good staff, just on the edge of the epicenter of activities… Everything was great: delicious local food in a cosy christmas atmosphere topped with an excellent service and some complimentary light bites!… Amazing food-starters, main and desserts. And the staff is great and knows how to spoil its customers…

Delicious dinner-quails in honey and balsamic and my husband had the lamb. Both meals delicious. The staff were welcoming and a friendly atmosphere. Also visited for lunch. Goats cheese salad and my husband had mussels. Excellent!
Excellent food with service second to none. Traditional Maltese food in a traditional Maltese atmosphere. Also has a good choice of wines both local and imported.
First time eating at Gozitan. What a great experience! Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service and amazing food. I highly recommend the Quail in honey & balsamic sauce. That sauce is just divine… But save room for their traditional desert! Those warm “imqaret” are so tasty! A big thanks to all the staff there. Next time I’m in Malta, this will be the first restaurant I go back to!
I used to have the warm cheese and horse meat – very Maltese dishes. Very well cooked with a great taste. Of course comfort food, and you should show up hungry (it’s a lot). Try the “Blue Label” ale beer from the Maltese Cisk brewery – fits perfectly.
First time in a local Maltese style restaurant – really enjoyed the local touch to the food plus the service. Service people were so accommodating. Our intention of a one course shared dinner somehow ended with a few extra small tasting plates prepared in the local style – all tasty and not heavy. Feel good place in a friendly narrow street of St Julian, a short walk from some big international hotels.
