The place is splendid, an old palace in the heart of Valletta, the kitchens are visible from the room, the perfect welcome, the quality background music, the excellent food, an inventive and original cuisine that has nothing to see with Italian / international menus extending to other restaurants in the city.

The food was beautifully plated, delicious, good use of spices and fresh herbs – we could see the microherbs in the kitchen. Another bonus as I love open kitchens which was headed by Carlos today.

The main chef is kind and the octopus is especially delicious.We also recommend seasonal items other than the menu.

I recommend this for special occasions. Very good food and excellent service.
