Excellent! Had some friends who are strict vegetarians... Spoke to Ian the manager and he truly went out of his way to help us out. So he organised a mixed starter with a variety of Maltese ftira, dips and small plates and then patiently described all the offerings which were vegetarian and others which he could transform. This ended up being 'the best meal in the island' which this couple had. We'll done to Ian, the chef and all the staff. This place is perfect for anybody wanting to have a complete Maltese experience!read more

This place is truly amazing. Personally I strongly recommend getting one of it's delicious Ftiras. Just remember to call and make a reservation before you get there because otherwise you might have to wait a little for a table.

Nenu offers great Maltese food selection along with a display of how to make them. As a group, we participated in a workshop of making the Maltese "ftira", home made bread with toppings you choose. Afterwards, we had a group dinner from the menu. The menu offers selection of meat or fish dishes as well as the ftiras. There is also a wonderful wine selection for the wine people. The staff are friendly and nice and the service was wonderful. I would recommend it for team building, group arrival or for a private more

Arrived for dinner with colleagues after a conference. There were 12 of us. Great food and ambience! We left with bellies satisfied. - had the Maltese platter. Definitely try their Ftiras! - staff were really accommodating and friendly - we were seated in a cellar area so we had the whole area to ourselves. it felt like a private party - warm and cosy, lighting was just nice. not too glaring. This place is a must-try if you are ever in Valletta!read more

Very cozy and relaxing place to enjoy some delicious, authentic Maltese food! I enjoyed everything and the staff was great here! With service in Malta still not being great overall, you wouldn't know that coming here. The owner is great and was highly welcoming. Highly recommended

This was an amazing find and an amazing meal. From what I was able to gather, this is one of the few places in Valletta that serves authentic Maltese cuisine. And they do such an amazing job. Everything I had - and the meal spread is extensive - was just superb. And the Maltese coffee at the end of it all. I sincerely hope I get back here again.

The food and service are first class. Very helpful friendly staff. We overdosed on Rabbit. The waiter recommended rabbit livers to share for the starter which were delicious. Before that he brought us bread with broad been pate and a tomato sauce dip. They were also really good. For mains, my partner had fried rabbit which was perfect along with the rabbit gravy. I had rabbit raviolli which was again very good. My only complaint is that the restaurant was full the following evening so we couldn't go back. Don't let the glass floor and quirky decor deter you from more

Excellent staff, very professional and friendly. The portions are very generous. We tried beef olives and rabbit and they were very good. The prices are similar to other restaurants

The food is absolutely amazing and super delicious. I've eaten there many times and every single time the food was super good and tasty no exception. Life entertainment was also great.

Great restaurant off the beaten track. It's well known and well renowned so you should think of reserving. I walked in off the street and hit a place though. A nice menu on offer and plenty of local specialities.

Absolutely brilliant. For good Malta food do not bother with the big commercial joints in the main streets... that's all microwaved junk compared to Nenu... I wish we'd discovered this place earlier on our stay. First class food, first class service.

A lovely place to eat traditional food. Ambience is more suitable as a winter place but the menu and the service make you go throughout the whole year.

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Malta. Rabbit was the best I have ever had. Also had one of the best desserts in the halva. Returned multiple times during our stay

This place was recommended by locals for lunch and proved to be a good choice. A bit away from the main tourist hangouts, but easy to find. Seems that they focus on local dishes. Dishes were tasty and of generous sizes while reasonably priced. Very attentive service.

Food is very savory. Definitely you will feel full visiting this place. But took a bit too long to have our meals.

Fairly good food - especially the starters of mixed Maltese specialities. Average prices. A set lunch menu would have been an asset. The TV in the restaurant running all the time and showing advertising for the place is a complete misunderstanding.

Interesting place offering good value for money in their food. There was live music on Friday night, which added a special touch. Decor is more on the simple side. I had the Ftira, which was ok, but nothing to write home about. Portion was good for the price tag though.
