The restaurant was customer friendly with wonderful staff, very good food, very reasonable prices, very clean bathrooms, very generous portions… The restaurant is child friendly too… The portion is huge and you will get for free some starters… Prices are low and service impeccable… This place situated in Bahrija is very simple and basic but the food is really good and cheap… You must try the fried rabbit, the most typical dish on the island. The portion is huge and you will get for free some starters…

We walked and this opened up an appetite and we settled for this unpretentious but typical country eating place which specialized in rabbit. The meal was as perfect as the scenery!
Food was well cooked, nothing extraordinary but service was efficient, the atmosphere and environment cosy and family friendly. They even provide appetizers on the table while waiting or having a drink. Prices reasonable and portions sufficient.
Well this place never disappoints, good local traditional Maltese food in generous portions and some good house wine.
This gem is a little off the beaten track, which guarantees traditional Maltese food. I would suggest booking as the locals seem to love the place and can fill the restaurant. I had snails, rabbit & horse, which were all delicious.
Great for a casual and traditional meal away from busy areas. The food is suberb and the staff very down to earth and friendly. Specialises in Maltese food especially rabbit, quails, octopus and more.
